Tesla Motors (TSLA) could have a drivetrain problem on it’s hand with the Tesla Model S cars, according to a report in Green Car Reports.
The report said a new analysis of data provided by Plug-In American, which pulled 327 owners of Tesla Model S cars, suggests as much as two-thirds of the Model s drivetrains will need to be replaced within 60,000 miles. The report noted TSLA declined to comment for the story.
Recently TSLA was down on light volume of 1.9 million shares. Average daily volume is 4 million shares.
